After 8 hectic nights in busy Hong Kong I was grateful to be heading to the stunningly beautiful Alisea Boutique Hotel in Ao Nang, Krabi. My visit was brief but a relaxing couple of days in Thailand was exactly what I needed!

I was impressed with the hotel from the start of the trip as they had arranged a mini van to come pick me up from Krabi Airport. The ride was comfortable and after a short journey the van pulled up alongside this beautiful little hotel and I was instantly excited to be staying here. As I walked into the building I was impressed by the Mediterranean looking hotel lobby. I couldn’t wait to see my room!

Alisea Boutique Hotel has three different rooms on offer; superior room, loft suite and honeymoon suite. I was staying in one of their loft suites which is a very stylish room with 2 floors and a private terrace that even has its own timber bathtub. I was very excited to try this!

The bed in the room was huge and so comfortable. The first night I arrived I was so tired and because the bed was so comfortable I ended up sleeping for 12 hours. Something I really don’t do very often!

The room also had a stunning bathroom with both a hand shower and a rain shower. The rain shower I instantly fell in love with. I’ve stayed in quite a few hotels that have these but the one at Alisea was the best rain shower I’d ever had. I found it very difficult to get out!

As amazing as the first floor was, the second floor was pretty cool too. What I loved about having the extra floor was you could keep the upstairs area hotter so I used it to dry my wet clothes and in the mornings it was the perfect place to do some hot yoga. This was then perfectly followed up by a dip in the stunning infinity pool which I quite often had to myself.

I was lucky that the weather was so fantastic during my stay here but even if you do get some rain the hotel is prepared. Downstairs they have a pool table and even a cinema screen that folds down from the ceiling.

Or if you prefer to spend the day relaxing they also have a spa on site where you can get a massage, enjoy a steam room or jacuzzi. Everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay.

The location of the hotel is good too as it’s only a short walk from the main beach area which is full of vibrant shops and restaurants ready to tempt you with delicious food. Of course, if you’re feeling too relaxed to walk after a day at the spa you can choose to have dinner at the hotel’s Italian restaurant. They’ll even bring the food to your room.

The highlight of my stay here was spending the afternoon at Andamana Beach Club. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus service to this amazing beach throughout the day and if you are staying here it really can’t be missed! It’s a great place to go to enjoy a beach away from all the tourists.
